Dragon Nest Elemental Lord - Important Information for ELs

Section 4 – Important Information for Elemental Lords
Stacking of Freezing Debuff – Increases damage taken by Monsters
Knowing how to double stack the freezing effect is extremely important for Elemental Lords.
This allows you to do the huge damage you see in the video earlier on.
Every stack of “freeze” gives you 50% more damage done on the monsters which is affected.
Here’s one very basic way to stack which allows you to do 100% more damage to monsters.
Simply use Glacial Spike followed by Glacial Wave.
HOWEVER, note that you MUST see that the monster is frozen by glacial spike first!
Also note that if you used glacial wave alone to freeze a monster, the monster will break out of the “freeze” once the duration is over, but with an initial glacial spike freeze, the freezing duration is actually increased/stacked.
For eg. Lvl 4 Glacial Wave has a 4.5s PVE Freezing Duration, and glacial spike has 4s, when successfully doing a double freeze, you actually have around close to 8.5s freezing duration which meant that in that duration, all damage dealt is increased by 100%
It doesn’t feel that way in actual gameplay because after a glacial spike freeze, while casting glacial wave, around 2seconds would have already passed. This is why I’ve mentioned that its closed to 8.5s but not exactly 8.5s, it is probably much shorter around 4-6s after the double freeze
This is extremely useful both during solo and team play.
Imagine everyone’s ultimate damage increased by 100% due to your efforts of a double freeze during a boss fight.
The screenshots below will show you the respective damage that you can do when you have no stack, 1 stack and 2 stacks of freeze respectively.
Note that these values have a range due to the min/max damage of our class which may make the last screenshot the double freeze one to be dealing a little more damage than usual
Also note that the screenshots below are done in compensation OFF PVP Mode which basically means that you will assume whatever stats that you have.
To put it simply, your opponent is now treated as a usual monster in PVE.
All necessary weapon prefix are also proc-ed before I actually do the testing which meant that though some of the damage may seem inflated but reassured that it is not due to prefix procs.

Ignite & Shatter Mechanics
For Ignite, note that it literally ignites the affected monster.
Know that for the skill to work, the monster/opponent must be having a burning effect. Burnt effect is usually applied when you hit your targets with fire-based spells.
Most importantly, know that ignite removes the burning effect.
Which comes to the most important point if you’re a fire-based Elemental Lord, DO NOT use Ignite after you use fiery vor4ex

Fiery Vortex main damage comes from its burning effect which is 200% Damage based on the last hit during the actual skill casting. This burning effect lasts for 10s.
I say again, do not use Ignite after you cast fiery vortex as it basically removes all potential damage that your Fiery Vortex could have done. This damage is much much more than the actual casting of the skill.
Know this especially if you have more than 1 elemental lord in your group. You DO NOT want to gimp your fellow party mate by using ignite after he/she uses his/her fiery vortex!
For Shatter,
What you need to know that it does works in similarly to Ignite.
But just know that it DOES NOT remove the slow effect but in fact increases it after the skill use.
Getting this to hit in PVP is extremely useful as your opponent will probably crawl into snail pace once this happens.
Abovementioned pretty much tells you what you MUST know as an elemental lord, hope this helps you understand the class with even more depth :)

Section 5 – Conclusion
The Elemental Lord class is definitely one that is very very fun to play with.
Playing around with Lyzbeth’s account was definitely fun when she’s definitely decently geared as a fire build Elemental Lord.
Ice build Elemental Lords item builds are as troublesome and probably expensive to make simiar to making critical build magic based swordmaster builds and it might not even do more damage than fire build ELs in 40 cap due to our skills currently.
