Dragon Nest - Acrobat – Basics, Generic Skill Build

2.    Basics
2.1.  Status:
STR          : 0.25 Physical Attack Power, 3 Paralyze, 3 Paralysis Resistance, 2.50 Stun
AGI          : 0.50 Physical Attack Power, 3.50 Critical, 10.50 Critical Resistance
INT          : 0.50 Magical Attack Power, 0.80 Magic Defense, 35 MP
VIT           : 0.50 Defense, 30 HP, 2.50 Stun Resistance
Written in bold are the parameters that you want to focus, especially Physical Attack Power and Critical.
2.2.  Critical and Final Damage
A critical hit will amplify your damage by 1.25 and ignore your enemy’s Defense and/or Magic Defense. An increase in Critical value will increase your chance to score a critical hit, and all DPS class including Acrobat will definitely need this.
Critical has a limit cap. For a Level 40 character, a Critical of 10000 will give you 89% chance to score a critical hit. Even if you have more than 10000 Critical, your chance to score a critical hit will stay the same as 89%. In other words, the critical limit cap at Level 40 is 10000.
Sometimes a critical hit occur with white text instead of yellow. This means that your critical hit is being resisted by the enemy. Note that Critical Resistance does not reduce your chance to score a critical hit, but rather increases the chance for enemy to resist your critical. A resisted critical hit usually does smaller damage compared to your normal damage.
Meanwhile, Final Damage is an additional percentage bonus damage that will apply to each of your hit to an enemy. Similar to critical, Final Damage has a limit cap as well. In this case, Final Damage of 849 will give you additional 100% damage against Level 40 enemies. Note that the increment of Final Damage is not linear, the more Final Damage you have, the more percentage increment in damage you will get.
2.3.  Super Armor (SA)
From now on, I will address Super Armor as SA. Now, each skills in Dragon Nest has their own SA gain and SA break. Skills with high SA gain will be difficult to be cancelled by your enemies, meanwhile skills with high SA break will easily flinch and cancel your enemies’ actions/moves.
Unfortunately, most of Acrobat’s skills have a very low SA gain. Thus, it is important to execute our skills in appropriate timing and position, as we will most likely lose when it comes to skill versus skill.
However, some of them has a high SA break capabilities, and this is the kind of skills that we want to use wisely, for example to make an opening for us to start chaining our combos.
2.4.  Invincibility Frame (IF)
From now on, I will also address Invincibility Frame as IF. IF is a brief duration in which we are invulnerable to any kind of attacks, especially during execution of certain skills.
Do note that different skills have different duration of IF as well. And evasion skills generally have longer duration of IF compared with other type of skills.
Now, why is IF important for Acrobat? As I mentioned earlier in Introduction, Acrobat is focused on quick moves and evasion skills. We are not a tank class like Cleric and we do not have high SA gain skills like Warrior. Hence, our best method to survive is through IF which is obtained mostly from evasion skills, and fortunately we have more evasion skills compared to other classes. We are also focused on executing various offensive skills as fast and as effective as possible, during which we are able to obtain some IF as well.
2.5.  Skill Explanation (Archer)
with some addition of my own explanation and my own evaluation of the overall goodness of the skills. I also add skill properties such as damage output or cooldown duration at Level 1 and at the highest level achievable in current Level 40 cap of DN SEA, so that you can better visualize the effect of each skills.

2.6.  Skill Explanation (Acrobats)
with some addition of my own explanation and my own evaluation of the overall goodness of the skills. I also add skill properties such as damage output or cooldown duration at Level 1 and at the highest level achievable in current Level 40 cap of DN SEA, so that you can better visualize the effect of each skills.

2.7. Basic Skill Tree (Level 40) – [Archer - 114/250SP] [Acrobat - 219/250SP] [Overall SP - 333/400]

Take note that this is only the basic skill tree that I recommend you should have at least. You still have 67 SP left, 136 SP space left for Archer skill tree, and 31 SP space left for Acrobat skill tree.
Where to spend the rest of the SP?
For this one, it is totally optional and up to you and your own preference and playstyle.
However, I will make a recommended list of skills that you can choose to spend the rest of your SP into:
  1. Twin Shot to Level 9 – Level 13
  2. Magic Arrow to Level 1
  3. High Spin Kick to Level 1
  4. Urgency Trick to Level 5
  5. Spiritual Excel to Level 4
  6. Spirit Boost to Level 2*
  7. Eagle Dive to Level 8**
  8. Double Somersault Kick to Level 4**
  9. Cyclone Kick to Level 3**
  10. Kick & Shot to Level 7 – Level 9***
  11. Spiral Kick to Level 7***
  12. Shortbow Mastery to Level 3
  13. Divine Rage****
  14. Spiral Edge****
(*) – Why  Level 2 when you can actually take Spirit Boost to Level 3? The reason is that at Level 2 your Spirit Boost duration is increased to 14 seconds instead of 13 seconds, but at Level 3 the duration will stay the same. That is why I would prefer to skip additional 2% speed and 2% cooldown reduction to save 4 SP for my primary and other secondary damaging skills. If you still want to take it to Level 3, then by all means, do so. And take note that if you decide to take Spirit Boost at Level 3, a Spirit Boost Skill Ring is a good option for you as Level 4 Spirit Boost has 15 seconds duration.
(**) – All of these skills have potential to be your secondary damaging skills. Spiral Vortex is not counted as it should be your primary damaging skill due to its great damage output and great utility. Note that Cyclone Kick has comparable or even more damage output than Spiral Vortex, but its utility is not as great (Spiral Vortex has bigger area of effect and hits enemies easier). Of course you cannot maximize all damaging skills out there so choose one only as your secondary damaging skill, maximize it and use the respective skill plate for it. What you should choose is entirely up to you, but you can refer to next section for more details on damaging skills.
(***) – Choose one only, depending on what are you planning to be later. Kick & Shot for Tempest and Spiral Kick for Windwalker. Do note that it is not necessary to pump these skills for the current Level 40 cap, except if you want to make these skills as your secondary damaging skills.
(****) – These are ultimate skills of Acrobat, and you will definitely need one. Choose one only since we do not have dual ultimate patch for now.
