[1.1] Introduction
Before you read on, I just want to emphasize that the builds shown below are purely based on my own research and preference based on my own
gameplay style. This is not a perfect guide that will suddenly help you get crazy damage (because gears and skills still matter) but it will help you to
know which are the skills that give the most support and which are the ones for damage. Lastly don’t blindly follow the builds below because each
person has their own gameplay style and may not be able to fully utilise the builds below so use it more as a reference and edit it to make it your own!
Well without further ado let’s begin! :D
If you have any questions with regard to anything about elestra or raids feel free to ask me at DNiGloez@gmail.com and you can also check out my videos that I upload on my channel; DNiGloez to see more one PvE related stuff like nesting and raids, how to stack ice and so on and hopefully PvP videos will be
up later on!
[1.2] PvE Elestra Support Skill Build [See video 2]
PvE support 1 PvE support 2 PvE support 3
Sorceress
Glacial Spike(20 + 1) This is really quite a good filler skill and can really stack ice pretty well so definitely max it to make it easier to stack ice and
as a nice filler skill for extra DPS.
Poison Missle(1) It’s really more of those skills I use for SA breaking and trapping mobs.
Shockwave(1) This skill will help to save you. Its amazing super armour and knockback effect can really save you from swarms of mobs!
Mental Mastery(1) because you’re an Elestra! Your intellect stats will already make your mp incredibly high so you don’t need even more mp.
The rest of the evasion skills and survivability skills were maxed like any other normal build so nothing much to explain there.
Elemental Lord
Flame Spark(1) Nice filler skill to have and to flinch mobs and to get the burn for you to cast ignite.
FireBall(1) Well basically this build is for support so fireball really isn’t needed to stack ice so I kept it at level 1
Inferno(1) Useless skill for any elestra imo.
FireWall(1) It’s a nice skill to have for the same reason I added showave. The damage is not bad but as an elestra we don’t really have much use for
this skill other than as a protective skill.
Pheonix Storm(9) This skill has a nice dmg/cd ratio so it really works well as a damage skill you can use between your ice stacking.
Ignite(11) This skill does about 2/3 of a max fireball damage and has a shorter casting time so it can be used more easily than fireball.
Fire Shield(1) Now I know there’s a lot of debate with regard to this. Honestly as an elestra even in DDN most hits would probably kill you in one hit so fire shield at 4 or 1 it doesn’t matter. The best solution for survivability in raid nests is to just dodge but if it’s for solo then you can drop Pheonix Storm to level 6 and add this skill to help you out a bit.
Flame Road(10+1) Crazy skill in terms of damage if you use it well. This skill doesn’t allow you to dodge when you cast it so you really have to learn when to use it and when not to. Even though this is a support build but Flame Road really is an amazing DPS skill to have even as support to help to add in some damage to the party while you’re not stacking ice.
Fiery Vortex(1) Just to help you unlock blizzard and also can be used for the damage reduction in cases of emergency.
Icy Shards(6) Nice filler skill and can be used to debuff to help you stack ice.(Read 2.4 for more info)
Frozen Spikes(11) Crazy skill in terms of dmg/cd so definitely add add it. I kept it at 11 instead of 13 though because the skill growth from 11 to 13
really isn’t all that fantastic.
Freezing Field(15+1) This is your best debuffing skill so definitely max it to help you stack ice layers. (Read 2.4 for more info on how to use it properly)
Glacial Wave(9) Free Ice layer for 7 seconds!
Shatter(0) Worst skill to have as an ice stacker! It completely goes against the purpose of an elestra!
Chilling Mist(0) Terrible DPS skill and the debuff isn’t worth adding.
Blizzard(2) The best ultimate that an elestra can choose to help stack ice and do pretty crazy damage at the same time.
HellFire(1) 0 SP cost so just add it to help you I guess :D
Elestra
Ice barrier(1) The difference between level 1 and 2 is negligible and using this as an ice stacking skill isn’t very reliable.
Ice Sphere(4) The best skill you have for ice stacking so max it!

[1.3] PvE Sub-DPS Elestra Skill Build [See video 1]
PvE sub dps 1 PvE Sub dps 2 PvE sub dps 3
Sorceress
Glacial Spike(19+1) This is really quite a good filler skill and can really stack ice pretty well but because this is a sub-dps build so you can drop it to 19 and just use a skill accesory to +1 it so you don’t lose too much freeze rate.
Poison Missle(1) It’s really more of those skills I use for SA breaking and trapping mobs.
Shockwave(1) This skill will help to save you. Its amazing super armour and knockback effect can really save you from swarms of mobs!
Mental Mastery(1) You’re an Elestra!
FireBall(16) This skill does really good damage and has a pretty good dmg/cd ratio but quite a bad ct(casting time)/cd ratio so you have to learn when to use it and when not to use it if not you’re gonna get yourself killed.
Inferno(1) Useless skill for any elestra imo.
Fire Wall(1) It’s a nice skill to have for the same reason I added shockwave. The damage is not bad but as an elestra we don’t really have much use for this skill other than as a protective skill.
Phoenix Storm(9) This skill has a nice dmg/cd ratio so it really works well as a damage skill you can use between your ice stacking.

Fire Shield(1) Now I know there’s a lot of debate with regard to this. Honestly as an elestra even in DDN most hits would probably kill you in one hit sofire shield at 4 or 1 it doesn’t matter. Flame Road(10+1) Crazy skill in terms of damage if you use it well. This skill doesn’t allow you to dodge when you cast it so you really have to learn when to use it and when not to.

Freezing Field(1) This skill is actually a really good debuffing skill that can help you stack ice more easily but in this build it’s level 1 BUT it can still be used well to debuff.(Read 2.4 for more info)
Glacial Wave(9) Free Ice layer for 7 seconds and despite being a sub-dps elestra you still have to fulfill your role as an ice stacker so you sill need this skill.

[1.4] 1v1 PvP Elestra Skill Build
PvP 1v1 1 PvP 1v1 2 PvP 1v1 3
Sorceress
Glacial Spike(11) This can help flinch opponents that like to rush to delay their advancement and can help you to freeze if you’re lucky and can also help to freeze if you’re lucky.
Poison Missle(6) This skill a good skill to sue to bounce-trap your opponents who are on the floor and trap them as well.
Shockwave(1) This skill can help you push your opponents back to hit them with freezing field which will do crazy damage and freeze them.
Mental Mastery(5) The new mp system forces us to max it :( so just max it so you don’t run out of mp so quickly.
The rest of the evasion skills and survivability skills were maxed like any other normal build so nothing much to explain there.
Elemental Lord
Flame Spark(6) Does pretty good damage in PvP so use it to throw on some extra hits on your opponent any time during the match.
FireBall(1) Has good super armour when you’re charging but can be dodged easily because of the time you need to charge the skill.
Inferno(1) This can be used to flinch opponents to keep them away for awhile and to give yourself some space.
FireWall(1) It’s a nice skill to have for the super armour and to float your opponents to bait their aerial evasion.
Phoenix Storm(9) One of the hardest hitting instant-cast skills.
Ignite(0) This has nice damage in PvP but the SP investment is a bit much for a PvP build and the casting animation is quite long which makes it easy to dodge.
Fire Shield(0) Use Freezing Shield if you need to use it at all.
Flame Road(0) Hard to get full hits so it doesn’t really work that well in 1v1 PvP
Fiery Vortex(0) You shouldn’t be using ultimate skills in 1v1 PvP ._.
Frost Wind(6) Nice for flinching opponents and for combos.
Icy Shards(15+1) Good damage and can float targets so max!
Frozen Spikes(1) Nice skill for trapping and debuffing opponents
Freezing Field(15+1) This skill HURTS in PvP and if you can hit the freeze with the slow debuff then this skill is gonna be your key to victory if you can take advantage of the debuffs!
Glacial Wave(9) Well elestras are known for disabling enemies so max this to tire your opponents fingers out! This skill also can be used to counter skills like Bone Crash, Finishing Attack and Smite if you’re fast.
Shatter(6) Nice skill to spam since you can keep throwing on debuffs and freezes on the enemy and this has pretty good damage as well.
Chilling Mist(10+1) Crazy painful skill in PvP and it has debuffs that will disable your opponent!
Blizzard(1) This is to unlock your elestra skills and for ladder matches.
HellFire(1) 0 SP cost so just add it to help you I guess :D
Elestra
Ice barrier(1) You shouldn’t be needing this skill much but it’s nice to have if you need to go for ladder matches I guess.
Ice Sphere(3) Freeze rate growth isn’t much but it’s nice to have around and the damage isn’t that good since it’s impossible to get a full hit on your
opponent.

[1.5] Group PvP Elestra Skill Build
Mass PvP 1 Mass PvP 2 Mass PvP 3
Sorceress
Glacial Spike(6) You rarely get a chance to use this skill properly in mass PvP so I just kept it at 6.
Poison Missle(6) In mass PvP you can just steal people’s kills as well by throwing poison missiles on opponents lying on the floor and this helps them team to attack as well without the target running around.
Void Blast(1) Many people think this is a funny skill to have you can actually use it to search the area for enemies and to push them back for you to run if you need to.
Flame Spark(1) This skill isn’t as effective in mass PvP as in 1v1 so I just kept it at 1 as a utility skill.
FireBall(1) Has good super armour when you’re charging but can be dodged easily because of the time you need to charge the skill.
Inferno(1) This can be used to flinch opponents to keep them away for awhile and to give yourself some space.
FireWall(1) It’s a nice skill to have for the super armour and to float your opponents and
Pheonix Storm(9) One of the hardest hitting instant-cast skills.
Ignite(0) This has nice damage in PvP but the SP investment is a bit much for a PvP build and the casting animation is quite long which makes it easy to dodge.
Fire Shield(1) Just to unlock Flame Road.
Flame Road(1) Nice skill for running when you need to and to help pin down fallen targets.
Fiery Vortex(1) Nice ultimate to use since it has damage reduction while you cast it and can be cancelled if you need to.
Icy Shards(15+1) Nice range and good damage so you don’t have to get involved in all the tussle and get killed. :P
Frozen Spikes(1) Nice skill for trapping and debuffing opponents
Freezing Field(15+1) This skill HURTS in PvP and if you can hit the freeze with the slow debuff then this skill is gonna help you chase captains and runners or kill them.
Glacial Wave(6) Nice skill to have to disable opponents and to help your team hit their skills more easily.
Shatter(11) Huge AoE with mad damage so definitely max it!
Chilling Mist(10+1) Crazy painful skill in PvP and it has debuffs that will disable your targets!
Blizzard(1) This is to unlock your elestra skills and can be used if your target is caught in a mercenary’s whirlwind ultimate.
HellFire(1) 0 SP cost so just add it to help you I guess :D
Elestra
Ice barrier(1) Long CD but it’s nice to have when you wanna cast skills that don’t allow you to dodge much.
Ice Sphere(4) Nice skill to throw in to disable your targets or to just throw int he middle to disable multiple people when everything gets too messy.

[1.6] PvP/PvE Hybrid Elestra Skill Build
Well actually there isn’t any pure PvP/PvE hybrid build because of the nature of Elestra’s skills. However the cool thing is that you can use the Support
PvE buld as a PvE/PvP hybrid as well it just wont be as effective as the Pure 1v1 PvP build since it’s a hybrid build.
[2.1] Which Build should I choose?!
Honestly, for PvE in order for you to choose the right skill build for you then it really depends on your gameplay style. However if you’re not very good at stacking ice then I would highly recommend the support build over the sub-dps build to help you stack ice more efficiently.
Additionally if your gears aren’t really fantastic then you should choose the support build so you can get a party more easily if not you’re gonna be completely useless in raids.
There’s no point in pushing for DPS when you can’t achieve a respectable level.
An elestra is wanted as a support class and NOT a DPS class so if you don’t have good gears or you can’t stack ice well then just go for the support PvE build because it can deal decent damage as well and people will think you’re really good at ice stacking when they see how well you use your debuffs.
For PvP build it really depends on which mode you play.
[2.2] How do I Gear up my Elestra?
Which stat do I focus on?
This question has been asked many many many times and a lot of people have been getting misinformed and then complain elestra has terrible damage.
Alright so let’s break down the way to boost damage shall we?
Elemental Attack- This is basically the same as final damage and adds x% to your overall damage.
Critical- This gives you a 100% damage boost at crit cap at a 89% rate.
Final Damage- Same as Elemental Attack; adds x% to your overall damage.
Magic Attack- I don’t think I need to explain how this works.
Well so from the above explanations given let’s decide which stats we should be focusing on. Final damage is crazy expensive so if you want you can get it.
However, if you wanna get final damage then get at least 1350 (50%) or don’t get any at all.
Looking at critical, this gives you a permanent 2x damage boost at an even cheaper cost than final damage. Therefore this is THE MOST IMPORTANT stat
to focus on.
After hitting the crit cap you can consider ways to boost your elemental attack which can supplement whatever existing final damage you already have.
Since elemental attack has the same effect as final damge, if you boost 50% final damage and 50% elemental attack you can have the same damage as a
person with 100% final damage and it’s MUCH MUCH MUCH CHEAPER!
For Magic attack, once you’ve maxed crit and gotten the elemental attack and final damage you need then you can start adding your magic attack. (Refer
to 3.2 for more info)
Suffix
This is another big issue that most players have because they are too driven to see big numbers and do crazy damage and always boost their base stats.
My recommendations for weapon suffixes will be based on a case-by-case basis.
Sub-DPS: Int x2 (For the debuffs which can also help to reduce elemental resistance on bosses to help to stack ice more easily.)
Support(Normal): Int x1 Vigor x1 (I know I’ve mentioned earlier that shields aren’t that useful in survivability but as a support you can make use of the super armour to ensure that you can cast your ice without being disrupted. Int x1 will help you to reduce the elemental resist and vigor will help you to sustain your shield)
Support (Survivability): HP x1 Vigour x1 (This is an alternative that is ONLY for people who are hopeless at dodging and need to recover HP by attacking if not they’ll die. I do not reccomend this set up because of the lack of ice resist reduction debuff but if you really feel that you die too often then this might be an option you can consider)
Solo(Survivability): HP x1 Vigour x1 (Essentially this is the same as the aforementioned support(survivability) set up but this works well in nests because it keeps you alive.
Solo(Normal) Int x1 Vigour/HP x1 (Similar concept; staying alive but now you add in int suffix to boost your damage a bit more)
PvP Ladder: Vigor/Knight/Restraint x1 Vigor/Knight/Restraint x1 (Basically knight and restraint debuffs help to disable your opponents even more which for an elestra is deadly since you already have ice and movement speed debuffs which will already mess the person up badly. Vigour helps you in the event that you encounter a runner who’s trying to burn out your shield.)
PvP Compensation Off: Actually you can just use PvE suffixes here or ladder suffixes depending on your needs.
Survivability
So this is another big issue as well just like many other things I’ve mentioned. People tend to go for DPS or push for DPS. However, it would be wise to consider the DPS output of a geared DPS that’s dead and an average geared DPS that’s alive. In essence, even if you can do damage in millions but can’t survive during the run then you’re pretty much useless and your team will probably just kick you. So how do we increase the survivability of our squishy elestras?
One way is to use vitality suffixes on our armours. It would not be wise to put a full vitality armour set because your damage would go too low and if you’re using wind suffix to boost your critical stat then your critical stat will fall. A vitality suffix top and bottom would suffice.
Another way is of course by putting on vitality accessories and plates. However, chances are that you’re not going to have enough space for plates because elestra has A LOT of stats to consider in gearing up.
Ultimately, the best means of survivability is always dodging so practice is always key.
Heraldries
The standard set up for and elestra would be: Magician, Wise, Wind, Fatal, Ultimate, Life Vitality, Health. Some additional plates you can put on would be Iron wall, Tent and Blessed.
For skill plates I’m just going to list a few you can use and a few that you MUST have and you can pick the ones you like the most.
For PvE: Frozen Spikes[Dmg] (MUST HAVE), Pheonix Storm[Dmg] (MUST HAVE), Flame Road[Dmg], Ignite[Dmg], Blizzard[Dmg], FireBall[Dmg], Ice Sphere[Dmg], Glacial Spike[Dmg], Glacial Wave[Debuff Duration]
For PvP: Icy Shards[Dmg] (MUST HAVE), Freezing Field[Dmg], Chilling Mist[Dmg], Flame Spark[Dmg], Frost Wind[Dmg], Glacial Wave[Debuff Duration]
Accessories
If you’re going for full FD then just go for Great Ancestor Accessories.
For those going 50% FD can try using Twisted Obsession Accessories since they add a considerable amount of elemental attack boost.
For those going Full Magic Attack/Elemental Attack then go for skill accessories with stats that best suit your needs such as critical or elemental attack or HP.
For skill accessories for PvE I would suggest using the following: Ice Sphere Necklace, Glacial Spike/Flame Road Earrings(You can get the +1 glacial spike from the new cash weapon) and Freezing Field ring for support build Elestras and 1 other ring of your choice. For Sub-DPS elestras, you can choose to use GDN L rings instead.
For PvP Skill accessories, as long as you have the Icy Shards Accessory, Freezing Field Accessory and Chilling Mist Accessory you should be fine.
